RSPB have advised the live stream is to go live this weekend so it shouldn’t be too long now until we get our first glimpse of the nest.

Hopefully we’ll see the beautiful EJ return soon to her nest and long may she reign.
But until then, a thread to record all our observations until the ospreys arrive and the DU starts.
Good morning MC.
Birdies LG DU update.
Hello to the early risers. Ian
Someone's back at LOTL, I think it's Lassie but gotta look up my facts.
IMAGICAT
Morning all -
Excitement really hotting up with Lassie (I am sure it is her) back at Lowes and now we know they are north, well it could be any day/time here.
Eyes to the cam:-)
Good morning, all. I must confess to having just had a bit of a nostalgia trip - I looked back at the events on the DU from April 6th 2015! Still puts a huge smile on my face.
Please let EJ, at least, return safely.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I thought I'd change the Community browser from Firefox to Opera, so's not to have to many tabs and because the plain text box behaves better in Opera... only to find that the Rich Text Formatting link doesn't respond in Opera :'( Back to the drawing board.
We did have a Coal Tit on the nest for a few seconds earlier :)
Food time! SYAL.
They might be experimenting with brightening up the cam:
Assuming that Blue CT6 is the heir apparent at Loch Garten, I forsee a problem. A young bird like that is not going to be very early so there is most likely trouble ahead.
Why am I reminded of Torvill and Dean?
