EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Hopefully we will get confirmation soon.
I so hope that it is Green BF and the second osprey is the unringed female, his mate.
Always lovely to see a residential pair back safely - fingers crossed it is them.
Mike says the light is rubbish to try and get a good photo of the ring, so we may have to wait until tomorrow for confirmation.
Its too much of a coincidence, as there are not many green rings still around so its just got to be Green BF (fingers crossed)
Mike has posted some photos, light was poor, but I enlarged the photo with the Green ring, and I am going to stick my neck out and say that it is
Green BF :-)

Overjoyed he has made it back....
Excellent news, Mary!

Sheila - Can't wait until Darren goes tomorrow, I am sure he will get his usual fab close up photos to confirm it really is GREEN BF.
Great news, except I don't win the prize for guessing the arrival date. Just as well I don't buy lottery tickets!! Ian
LOL I just hope there is a prize now Ian, as Darren only said (might) :-)
Although he is such a generous fella, I am sure he won't renege on his post. It also looks like Karen is the winner, but I guess we will have to wait and see what Darren announces.
Mary - I am sure it is Green BF as you would not stick your neck out - LOL, I loved that post of yours :-) - if you were not sure.
Has the other unringed one stuck around - is it his mate?
It would be lovely if both of them are back but of course we need Green BF to truely identify her :-)
Mary Oh, about winning - please don't tease me. I do have my fingers crossed :-)
But you know, the main thing is and a "prize" for all of us is that they return safely :-)
We will have to wait until Darren goes to the Loch Karen or someone else who can get a clear photo of his ring (Green BF's that is). LOL
Darren was working last night, so he may need some sleep before he goes though :-)
