The purpose of this thread is to record the day-to-day activity at the Manton Bay nest thus freeing up the Rutland Osprey Project 2018 thread for general news on all the other birds, nests and projects.
Details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Last year we were thrilled to see both Maya and Blue 33(11) return within hours of each other on the 22 March and I am sure I speak for us all in wishing them both a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Just in case anyone here hasn't heard it already - my once-trusty video editor has been taken out of service in its usable form - my world came to an end, almost, but I'm struggling on with a combination of the crippled one and Windows Movie Maker and a separate cropper :'( Everything takes so much longer :'(

Which cam shall I crop?
I chose the mono cam, as the colour one has a smudge on it.
Second mating, Maya leaves, Blue33 has a slight potter, leaves:
Empty nest now.

I hope you find another "trusty" editor Scylla, we don't want you frazzled at this point in the season. I use Movie Maker, can be a hit or a miss, lots of program not responding glitches.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
I seen an Osprey fly across in the distance. It has changed to the day light cam (hues of blue :-)
Will pop back in later on in the day to catch up. Happy posting!
Enjoy your day ALL.

I find it fairly stable but there are other problems - which I just started to list but it became toooo off-topic to post ;-D
However, I had wondered what editor you used for your super travel videos, never dreamt it was humble MovieMaker :o
