Hi folks, It was a windy and damp day yesterday. Lots of vigorous exercising by Middle and Youngest. Thought at one time the middle one would take off, it was certainly doing so across the nest. I think 5 fish in all were delivered by both parents between them. All at rest now. Ahhhhhhhhnight, night, see you all in the morning.

Hi Daisy May nice to see you. Hope you are enjoying watching the two of them trying their best to take off. Don't think it will be long now.

Nope - still one on the left of picture....
Oh, the effort they put in, to try and fly. I have just found that I hold my breath when they keep trying so hard. I am exhausted !!
i am a shift worker Cirrus. afternoons today and nights this weekend! :-( i an gutted - jusy seen No 2 go right accross the nest, then into the camera, and up and down and accross again, and i KNOW it is going to happen as soon as i turn the computer off, but i have go to go or i will be late! ARGHH!! xx
Hi Margobird, yes just came in from the porch painting for a "qick fix" of the birds to view the next one nearly doing it! Funny to hear him/her shriek as he/she landed the other side of the nest! Did he/she mean, "I've done it! Is that it then?"
Afternoon Brenda H have just been watching the two of them really trying hard. Think it was the middle one who actually got up in the air and hovered above the nest. Sounds really windy again so probably it is a good time for them to take a first flight.
Hi Daisy Ray nice to see you here. Have noticed that they often give triumphant SHRIEK! when they have just been nearly flying.
Hi Gary nice to see you back hope you had a nice week with family.
As you can see it is ever more difficult to sort out who is who. The growth of these youngsters is something to behold. With parents like EJ and Odin it is no wonder. They have had some extremely windy and wet weather to deal with. Was watching middle and Titch trying to take off again. Don't think it will be long now.
