Clare: Fab shots of those swans in flight - and otherwise occupied.
dibnlib: Thanks for the heads up re Paddington Bear; will pass on info to granddaughter.
Heather What a feast!
PatO: I think we could just arrived at Heather's on a family day and there'd be so many nobody would notice two more smiley faces at the table. :-)
Back from extremely busy but productive trip. Off to Tai Chi this morning. Thanksgiving looming right ahead. Oh dear. Quite frankly, I'm ready for January 1 to arrive.
LINDY You will not be disappointed.... I promise. As it was a Mon afternoon there were only adults at the viewing and all enjoying every minute.
Glad you liked my Welney photos. I managed a quick visit to Felixstowe Ferry the following day......yup, more photos. Click on this lovely parent and offspring to see more:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

HeatherB glad you enjoyed your Chinese birthday meal with the family. Its always nice to have them round. We had son and d-I-l round on Sunday for lunch. They are both working and have busy weekends so it was nice they could come round for our Dau's b'day meal (Tuesday actual birthday).
Clare - love the photos.
Dibnlib - glad to hear you enjoyed Paddington Bear 2, Must try and go to see it. Saw the first one and loved it.
Not too much going on down here but have Womens meeting tomorrow afternoon - not quite sure what the speaker will talk about, just hope it isn't boring.
A bit of a missy day today, might improve tomorrow.
Thanks for all your news.
Belated Happy Birthday to Heather & Clare. Enjoyed your pics Clare.

I won’t last long here at computer, too hot, expecting 35 C, tomorrow a cooler (?) 32. Not a heatwave as only 4 days, These pics from my Burra expedition – detail of St Francis of Assisi window in Anglican church. Birds & bunny.

Good Morning, All. Still dark here, but not wet.
AQ -- Such lovely stained glass, wish I could click on "like" twice.... Sorry you're suffering in the heat.
Annette - Good that your trip was productive. The days ahead seem so full, it makes me want to go live on a desert island. I love Christmas but it's becoming a marathon I don't want to run. Our Eldest has just accepted our invite for them to come and stay over the main event, and it will be wonderful to see little Amber's excitement, but a lot of rushing about involved plus upheaval to make room for them.
Today's pic:
To cool AQ down a bit.
Yeay Linda, I'll tag along at end of the line!
