Welcome to the new week. Hope all the UK types remembered to put their clocks back. We'll do it in another couple of weeks.
LINDY Hope the sore throat doesn't come to anything.

OG - Thanks for your good wishes - we decided that if the weather was grim, we would just keep warm and eat something nice! I grate cheese over the macaroni cheese, by the way, and mine has a good lacing of HP Sauce, too!!
Edit: My Friend loves Lisbon - she has also been there as part of a cruise, plus they once flew direct to Lisbon and stayed there for two days, to see all the sights, plus driving onwards to enjoy and investigate the centre of Portugal, which has wonderful countryside. Then they flew home from Albufeira, in the south of the country.
LINDA - I have "Fruity Brown Sauce" - a bit sweeter than HP.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Evening all: OH and I have been eating smaller portions for the last year, although I typically sneak a small bowl of cereal before I go to bed.
Went to Tai Chi this morning - a lovely class. Last evening, our yoga teacher had a get-together and potluck at her house when our former yoga teacher was in town. Earlier, I went to the local University to hear economist Robert Reich (Bill Clinton's Secretary or Labor) talk on "How Did We Get into this Mess?" One guess what/who he was talking about. :-)
OG: Not tired;just busy. Managed a relaxing hour tidying up some salvia in the garden this afternoon. We have a tree service coming in a couple of weeks to do a major prune off the Chinese Elm and a first tidy-up/thinning of our three olive trees, which should help the shrubs planted in their shadows.
Heather: Roses are pretty forgiving; I guarantee they'll show up next year!
Lindybird: Thanks for reminding me about Lynette's anniversary. Add me to the list of veggie eaters.:-)
Lynette: Indeed, the hurricane season in the Caribbean runs from June 1 through November 30, although I've heard that cruise ships can outrun a hurricane.
Our clocks go back this weekend. I like the darker evenings; it's sort of cozy.
Not much planned this weekend so lots of opportunities to get ahead of paper/files/mail, etc.
Have a good Saturday everyone.
Good Morning. Dampish here, as it rained quite a bit in the night, but a dry day predicted for today. My OH says there is now a chilly wind blowing.
As I write, Bonnie is trying to be sick in the kitchen, as she ate something this morning which had washed up on the beach. Yeugh!
Today's pic:
Have a good weekend, everybody.
Wonderful morning here. Benson still wouldn't go for a walk. Maybe because I was on the floor doing my knee exercises!!!! Any excuse will do for him!!!!
After looking distressed for an hour, Bonnie finally got rid of whatever it was..... it smells like a chemical. My OH is clearing up and we're hoping she will be OK now.
Glad she brought it up, LINDY.
I suggest feeding Bonnie some bread to absorb any remaining substance as it passes through - she might bring more of it back at first - but better out than in. If in any doubt find a local vet who may be au fait with what gets washed up on that beach - and in future please walk her on a lead!
