WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey) SUNDAY AUGUST 19,2017

Last night in Arizona; heading home tomorrow with stopover in Palm Desert. Will catch  up then!

  • Diane-I hope your life gets easier for you. You certainly deserve it!

  • DIANE- I've been thinking about your post all day, on and off. Something that I need to learn, to take a step back and evaluate things before I start imagining the worst. I'm so happy that it all worked out for you and thank you from here.

  • All okay here - just ultra busy - will explain tomorrow!

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

  • All OK here, too --  but I've been trying to post for three hours!!!!

  • The Site seemed to decide not to post my posts........

    Ho hum

Off to bed now.....  night All.

  • Evening all:  Busy here too. Spent the morning persuading my computer to reestablish good relations with my printer. Computer was put out because I'd downloaded software for Arizona contingent's printer. Finally got things sorted when I uninstalled AZ printer software.  Then it was a series of phone calls followed by - OMG! lunchtime already?!  Afternoon was more of the same followed by dinner out with OH and am now puttering about in preparation for tomorrow (dentist and then more organizing).  So exciting.

  • Good Morning.  Misty here again. Warmish.

Annette --  For something which is supposed to save time, it's often the pc which can take a big chunk out of your day :-(   Glad you got it sorted.

AQ -- I thought it was a wallaby.  :-)    (I just had to add wallaby to my tablet dictionary - mind you, whoever wrote this dictionary has a very limited vocabulary!)

Heather -- I wrote something last night about Diane, but can't remember all my ramblings now. Thinking of you, DIANE!  :-)

  • Today's pic:

    Snowbathing instead of sunbathing!

  • Morning all -

Dull and wet weather here but warm. I'm cross with myself because I didn't do much outside work yesterday.

ANNETTE - Rather you than me, installing and uninstalling computer programmes etc! I did manage to install Windows 10 and haven't got over the shock of being able to do it, yet!

AQ - I, too, was peering at the window, wondering what was on that piece of glass. Enjoy your trip, look forward to reading about it.

Have just taken delivery from online butcher, Aberdeenshire. The minced steak was half price so got 24 packs, will give half to middle daughter. Callum will come in on his way home from work, to collect it. She has scored in more ways than one. Stepson and wife brought in a pile of teenagey stuff for Amy, yesterday, since their daughter has just moved down to Brighton. Before she left she turned out her bedroom but it didn't stop there. They also brought down several sets of duvet covers and sheets etc for a single bed. Some were brand new in their packets :-)

  • Have had a most frustrating morning, grr.  Rushed around the town on errands, and seemed to be blocked by people standing around, at every turn. Then met someone I havn't seen for years, so of course we swapped news, but all that made me sure I'd over run my parking ticket.... positively ran around the supermarket to get some essentials!  Thankfully although I'd been ten minutes over by the time I reached my car, there were no parking wardens around, who are very keen around here. Phew!
