HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
I've chosen a deer picture this week, because a doe white-tailed deer and her twins have been visiting my house every night at dusk to eat my weeds. :-) The little male is very feisty and bold. His daddy is the impressive old buck who often sleeps in the brush by my garage. Everyone here is eagerly awaiting the Total Solar Eclipse. At my house, the eclipse will be 93% total. I'm not going south to the path of totality. Best wishes to everyone!

Doom Took the little sockets off this evening and found that the lump on the back of my heel is worse than ever. I had booked a appt with my GP anyway and now the heel problem will be no 1 priority.
Fingers crossed, DIBNLIB.
Sorry - too tired to comment, have had another busy day. Have read all the posts.
AQ - Don't know how you cope with two three year olds, one is keeping me busy!
Good Morning, All. Sunny already here, with puffy clouds.
Sad events last night.
Went to bed and then woke up again this morning, with the Paul McCartney "Frog Song" going through my head, after running the DVD with it for Amber yesterday (twice!)
Today's pic:
Labelled a "Blue Morpho"
LINDY I had a jigsaw of the "Frog Chorus" . It was 1000 pieces and great fun to do.
Dreadful about Barcelona killings. My friend whose birthday it was yesterday has a son living in Barcelona where he teaches English. Luckily he is on ho;day in Italy at the moment. I know she worries about him and his long term girlfriend a lot and also her daughter who lives in Woking but works in London. We feel safe up here....perhaps that is a mistake, nowhere is really safe.

Linda - I shouldn’t laugh. But you are just not acclimatised! BTW MissL is great mates with Toby, their Tenterfield terrier. He play-bites her as she roughs him (I shudder).
.
Clare – Brilliant bird pics. You must have so much patience.
OG – Gorgeous Balloon flower. Thank you for the update.
Hello Everyone.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Lots of posts on here overnight and this morning, thanks and hello everyone.
Clare – more good pics from the Ferry!
Dibnlib – sorry the heel has got worse. I hope doctor can help.
Linda – glad Amber is keeping you busy. Frog song is being used in a trailer for Bake Off on Ch4, so I also have it as an earworm!
OH shopping this morning, early lunch, then he collects his teeth then takes me for my fortnightly blood test! All adds up to a busy day. When he came home from dentist yesterday, he was worrying that he would have to have a liquid diet till he got his teeth back; he did manage a cup-a-soup about 3pm, then in the evening he “managed” a huge portion of vege medley (in cheese sauce); I found some of the veg quite hard, but his seemed to go down fine! J is at a training in Dumfries today.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Friend phoned to say she won't be going to the gym ,Dobbies and a free birthday cream scone sounded much more appealing. I have decided to wimp out of my swim as she usually gives me a lift home otherwise it is a 1/2 mile walk from the bus stop and as I have to walk to the surgery and back this aft I have decided to rest my heel. I will continue my jigsaw instead.
