HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY FULL MOON!
The Full Moon is at:
5:07 a.m. Sunday morning in the U.K.
12:07 a.m. (just after midnight Saturday night) in the eastern U.S.
9:07 p.m. Saturday night in CaliforniaThe July Full Moon is traditionally called the Full Buck Moon or the Full Thunder Moon.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
I wondered about that, bjane, as I remember you saying that you were her caregiver: I'm glad it's not so much all on your shoulders now.
The internet is a big help when you're apart from family, we use Facebook and Skype to keep in touch with ours.
Annette: We will haul up the carpet, chop it into bits together with the underlay, and take it all to the tip. My OH will never pay anyone to do things he can do himself, so it's an extra thing to see to. Old habits due hard!
Hi all, just been reading first page of this weeks chat, a lot to catch up on.
FB - do hope that things work out for your step-dau and yourselves and that all will be well in the end.
OG - what a cutie is Miriam, she's gorgeous.
Diane and Annette - lovely to hear of your news too as indeed everybody.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Annette and Diane - do hope fires and storms abate. Stay safe.
Interesting to hear about your Grandfather, and G.Grandfather, Diane.
WendyB - glad you had a lovely break with dau's - cottage right on the beach, great location.
OG - at least your electrical problem was eventually sorted and you can get back to normality. Glad you are enjoying your new decking with drinks outside. Nothing better.
Heather - what a thing to happen, hope you can laugh about it now.
See Konta has won.
Back at the gym on a regular basis now, enjoying my swims. Foot is fine. Been miserable today and cooler but hey ho that's the British weather for you.
Snippit of news, my family home is going back into auction on July 19th so will be able to watch the auction live through the Auction House, subscribe (free) to updates so picked it up on the email. We do hope that a more understanding landlord, and not the unscrupulous one my brother has been putting up with, takes over the reigns. There is a guide price but of course we don't know what the asking price is. Last time the bidding got up to £240,000 but he wouldn't accept it wanted 10K more. Silly fool, should have let it go then. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see.
bjane: It's difficult when families are so spread out. We've started using Facetime now that we all have iPhones and it's a wonderful way to say a quick and impromptu hello to family. Good to read that you now have what sounds like significant help with your daughter. Are you able to get out and about and see friends maybe?
Lynette: Nice that you're back in your swim routine. Does seem a shame to turn down the bid for the house for the sake of such a relatively small amount given the aggravation involved. Here's to a successful resolution next time around.
Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.
Thurs escape has been postponed as Friend has medical problem. Big decision for me to decide what unwelcome task/s I shall do instead. Not feeling the best myself as yesterday’s weeding session amongst the jonquils has led to a headache. It will pass.
Good Morning, All. Dry here - waiting to see if it lasts.
Lynette - Glad to hear that your foot's better and you're back to the swimming.
AQ - Sorry your trip's off, for now at least. Hope your friend is OK. And yourself!
I've overslept today, so must get going.......
Here's today's pic: can't remember if you've seen this one!
Just checking in quickly, must make the most ofthe best day we have had for ages. Sunny and warm but not too hot. Have just applied moss killing stuff to the driveway, dead headed roses, planted the last lavender that my OH grew from a cutting (weepy moment or two).
Hopefully BBL
Lovely weather here, not too hot but sunny between the clouds.
Been to visit my Friend, at home, she's busy tidying up, as she goes in for her knee replacement surgery tomorrow. Their tiny garden is riot of colour; they have old brick walls all around it and so have a lot of pretty climbers and velvety roses.
Heather: Enjoy your garden! Lots of things must remind you of your dear OH and that's how it should be. {{HUGS}}
