Not a good day yesterday. Still no Odin. Started out ENS, then an unringed intruder, then to our relief, EJ returned to the nest with a partially eaten fish, ate the rest on the Fish Perch. But later when it began to rain, she came back to brood the empty nest cup. She was a forlorn sight in the rain. A partial eggshell is still there, and she returned later in the evening and hunched over the cup again until the rain ceased before flying off again. Now ENS. Hi Jan and Cathy. Welcome to the forum from me. Such a lovely post Jan, thank you. We're a good bunch here :o))
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Well good night all. Still ENS.
Hi Jan and welcome to the forum. There are lovely people on this site, who restore my faith in human nature every day. Hope you enjoy being part of it.
Welcome Jan and Cathy, a lovely post Jan, much appreciated. We are like minded folks here and these two Osprey's have done to us what I, never in my wildest dreams could think they possibly could. They are so special, I think you can tell that by all of our posts. We keep everything crossed and hope that our lovely boy Odin will return to the lovely EJ soon. Working the next 3 days so will be checking in after tea. Until then friends, sleep well and we await what will unfold.
Good night Moffer.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Greetings Jan and everyone
I am also brand new to this group though have been following closely since the beginning of the season, here and especially at Loch Arkaig. Your gem of a message touched my heart--and echoed what I have been feeling exactly. Thank you for putting everything into such eloquent words which just say it all. Made me well up, again, after all the tears that have been shed.
Its heartwarming to see that there are quite a few new posters to this forum - welcome and continue to post. Of course there are other nests that we can follow despite what has happened at LG.
Thanks all for updates.
