Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Eldest has just come down off the post & asked if he can join the others in a cosy nest for the night!
Now they are all cosied up together again, as when they were little. Light is fading.
sorry, Alicat forgot to answer your question - there has been a half hour programme on BBC2 tonight which is part of a 6 part series (not shown in Scotland, apparently)
Awww-time for bed as well. last thought I don't know why a few people get insulting at this time of night, maybe they've been drinking. It's a wonder that Richard doesn't comment, perhaps it's the RSPB's policy to ignore it.
Night georgous chicks, will check them after work at 1pm to see if another has fledged.
Jillian - It must be hard for them, but the staff have to be diplomatic.
Just caught up after getting back from choir practice.
Absolutely fabulous the capture of the middle chick Alicat and DJoan S of the middle one.
Looks like its been a quiet evening. The three bairns are sleeping now.
