Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

And that would make sense as Middle youngster had a good feed on his own.
Youngest is being fed along with the eldest, by mum, middle one is nearest the cam.
Yes, you were definitely correct , Lynette
ah thanks Lynette, I still find it difficult to tell those two apart! At least they've all had a feed now.
Finally EJ gets some time to herself:

EJ and eldest have left the nest and the other two are watching where they went.
The middle one certainly seems as though it wants to go but just can't quite make the plunge. Its been practicising its jumps in the air.
Eldest has just flown off to the centre right of the shot, seemed to go quite a long way as I didn't see it land.
Youngest doing some more flying practice, but mostly going backwards:
Very nice shots RtheB - I think it's Middle hatched that's been jumping though.
hmm, seems I still can't identify them (and I'm doing several things at once here so haven't kept my eye on them all the time). Actually I did use a little licence with those photos, they weren't taken one straight after the other, although they are in chronological order (there was a bit of forward movement in between, so I'm being a little unkind to Middle it would seem!)
I've just finished copying the sequence RtheB, I do hope you doh't mind
