Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

Eldest Annette (just in case you've not had a response - I'm just getting started here :) )

Titch was laying down with #2 when it saw the eldest standing , mantling and alarm calling . Titch stood up to join in the defense.
The eldest and Titch are back to eating again , but they are still alarm calling in-between bites . #2 is helping alarm call while laying down
Odin need to do some dive bombing !!
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Eldest and Titch are a fear-some two-some defense team !!
Oh Oh they are alarm calling again . The look in Titch's eyes is like EJ's when she is angry
There is no doubt in my mind those two will survive!
I don't know about #2. It needs to find it's backbone
What a racket - I wish the intruder would get the messaage!
Question to you all please: Has anyone seen the Middle chick ( the one most like Mallachie from profile) eat a fish PROPERLY, like Eldest does?
EDIT: and has the broader white spaces between its black 'stripes' / 'bars; on it's face

No Cirrus. I don't think 2 or 3 are anywhere near as proficient as #1 at eating.
Been away for a while talking to friend, but we heard all the noise! Intruder still around.

The eldest eats like an adult. Titch manages Ok , but struggles. I have never seen #2 try to feed itself Maybe someone else has seen it try to eat.
cirrus: I think # 2 & #3 are still trying to get to grips with tearing off the fish and eating it themselves.
Middle chick had a go at feeding itself this morning ... it managed to get some fish off, but nowhere near as good at feeding itself as eldest, or even Titch
