As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Thanks, Birdsong. I'd lost this thread. Lovely that all seems uneventful here and long may it continue!
Kind regards, Ann
Looks like Clarach on the nest, looking intently to the right side, as if something promising may turn up...

ps: apart from the general outlook, little specks of stripey light tell us it is raining...
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

It was egg #7 at Glaslyn in 2015 rolled back on Friday 5 June 2015 The chick that came out of it was W0 who should be back any day.

Today should be hatching day for the first egg.
I wonder what is under Clarach .. three eggs or two and a chick?

Hopefully it clears up soon as it is looking really horrible here this morning.
Just seen a very quick changeover at the nest and there are still 3 eggs.
Weather forecast for Aberfoyle has some sunshine from 3pm but the rain to start again 10pm and Sunday looks quite wet with rain forecast for the rest of the week. Poor Clarach, not the goldilocks weather we would wish her for her first brood but she comes from tough stuff so fingers crossed :-)
It looks like it has dried up there, but lens still got some marks on it.
Maybe when the cam starts up tomorrow Clarach will have her first little osplet to show us.

I finally had a view, it worked on my browser this late afternoon! :)
Made a sequence to celebrate this, and for those who still lack any streaming images.
