As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Thanks for the alert Mike, fantastic to see Clarach has laid a third egg.

Wasn't quick enough to capture but male bought partially eaten fish and Clarach is eating it on the nest and the male settles on the eggs
Eggs left home alone for a while but Clarach now back trying to eat fish and cover eggs at same time!

Making a hash of it trampling all over the eggs!
Good job eggs have evolved to be stronger than they look, Mike!
Clarach quietly incubating and panting
Why doesn't whateverhisname or number is build up the nest a little? Or at least bring in some soft furnishings. Sigh
Evening, All. Agreed, Cirrus, big siiiiigh, but it looks like Mr. McClarach is a novice at this nest-building and egg-sitting thing, just as Clarach is! Fingers crossed that they will both learn quickly and soon also bring sticks and soft furnishings to the nest as well as fish!
Kind regards, Ann
