As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Clarach and Partner on nest @ Aberfoyle - defending! Intruder obviously around. Nice shot of her ring number.

Was looking to see if there was a thread for the Aberfoyle nest now they have a live stream from 9am to 5.30pm AND Clarach (Blue 2R from Dyfi) is there.
As the unringed male is not being very forthcoming, perhaps this is still the best place for news.
Clarach was on the nest from around 5.15pm - looking up so I was hopeful but then 5.30pm came and the stream stopped...

Don't know what has happened to focus today but even through the blur I can see Clarach is shouting for fish!!!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Yes birdsong, it's really not great picture today.

Hi Everyone
I have asked on The Lodge Facebook page about the webcam, and they have replied.
So hopefully tomorrow it will be sorted.
