The season so far:
Glesni (Blue 12) and Monty arrived back within hours of each other on 1st April. Glesni laid three eggs on the 14th, 17th, and 20th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch towards the end of May.

#1 and #2 are almost the same size and neither were backing down....maybe two feisty females :-)

The chick I am thinking of was attacking mum!
Tiger Signature
This is the most adorable piece of chick violence you will ever see. See "My Turn"
#3 might be the smallest but certainly very clever he ended up getting his feed in the end and #2 at the back who wasnt even involved took the brunt of the pecking ...lol

Oh that was what was brilliant about it. The chick at the back was called Stripe and was a very vicious individual who loved duffing up the little one called Flag.
Poor Flag never got enough to eat and with the benefit of hindsight it was amazing he survived. Still on August 3 2006 after a saga lasting forty days he fledged to much cheer.
He was exceedingly lucky as he was from a fourth egg and benefited from mum dumping egg #1
I told the story in The Mystery of The Missing Egg
Brilliant Tiger really enjoyed that, well done Flag :-)
Caught the end of a feed

As I looked in Glesni was feeding and #3 was certainly getting fed and was in the front row!
Glesni flew off, returned with a twiggy stick then settled to brood.
Birdies LG DU update.
That is exactly what I saw Patily! Well caught!
This is the scene at the moment.....I havent been here all day so not too sure about feedings etc. but chicks look content
