HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!Welcome back, Odin!!!
Good morning everyone
ANNETTE- the meal sounds fabulous, just the sort of food that I like.
DIBNLIB- take care of that foot. I chuckled at the thought of you being jealous of your OH getting the Benson cuddles. My son's shop is in Shrewsbury. I'd better not be more specific in case it contravenes the site rules.
LINDY- I meant to go out into the back garden and check on the fritillarys(? spelling) but my head tells me that it is maybe too early for them, here.
EE- great that OG can read what is going on here. Or at least, listen to you reading things!
Off to Elgin this morning.
(
Good Morning, All. Dry but cloudy, here.
Heather - You're the customer, not an expert. Somethings definitely wrong somewhere. As Annette says, maybe he changed something which has upset it's equilibrium! Have a good swearyword, and ring the gas man!
Annette - I'm coming over, that fish dinner sounds delish..... Sorry about the trapped whale, Hope they can help it.
Not sure what we're doing today, but I must get some small (bathroom) floor mats washed, whilst it's dry weather.
Heather - You came on whilst I was typing. Hope you can get someone to sort out the boiler. Enjoy Elgin.
Oops, nearly forgot today's pic:
HEATHER We used to live at Shawbury (on 2 occasions) which is only 9 miles from Shrewsbury, so may well know where the shop is. Unlikely to go there again though, but you never know. Wish him lots of success with it.
This morning we have decided to go to "The Bad Girl Bakery" which has recently opened in Muir of Ord. I am sure we can be very bad indeed.
HEATHER These people are there to help you so don't feel bad. Hope things get sorted out quickly so you can get a good nights sleep.
Hello. EE typing for OG again. No definite date for orthopaedic appointment but physio said. this morning that she has heard that it will be during April. So it looks as if OG might get home in early May. If they can get her walking once she can weight bear. She has been in hospital since 2 February,so that will be three months in total.
Grass has had its second mowing, bulbs have all been beautiful. Daughter 2 came down from Inverness last week nd, so was able to visit OG at both visiting times on Saturday.
from EE and OG.
Thanks, E-E! Nice to get an update on your & OG's situation. Hope that at least now you know how long its all going to take, you can make some kinds of plans.
A bit more of our recent hols:
A lighthouse, with its former equivalent next to it: it seemed huge from a distance but not so big when up close. This one has a Fishing & Maritime Museum and a cafe.
The two together, for size comparison: the modern one is much more effective, I'm sure!
Turning around from there, nearby views of the mountains:
Nearby, your own private beach if you want! - just enough room for two or three people!
