Mrs G on 'new' nest.
Birdies LG DU update.
Pity it's not Aran but any male is good news with all those females - as long as he isn't simply stopping off on the way to Scotland.

5F on the PC perch according to Emyr.
Mike: Is that the perch to the Traeth Glaslyn nest?

I must have lost something here... What is the 'PC perch'? Personal Computer Perch? And what is 'Traeth Glaslyn nest'?
Tiger's Osprey News
The Traeth Glaslyn nest is the second nest at Glaslyn. I think that Blue 5F and Blue CX7 bonded there last year. I think that PC is Pont Croesor, and they talk about 'Pont Croesor on the Glaslyn'. I am not sure exactly where it is, but from a blog on 23 March they say:
Last year Blue 5F took up residence on a nest platform close to the Pont Croesor Visitor Centre (the Traeth Glaslyn nest), which is just over 2km away from the Glaslyn nest.
Sheila, thanks for all the updates and information you are posting - much appreciated :)
Thank you, Sheila, now I know.
Thanks for all this news. My ability to view the camera seems to be broken at present so updates very useful. 4 female at Glaslyn according to their fb page. 3j also there another Rutland girl. Not going well for Mrs G particularly with no Aran to help. If one of the other females bond with this male it could spell trouble for Mrs G.
Lets hope the male stays and teams with 24 or 5F
Having spent the morning, confoozed, I went outside at about half past one, and have found this on Glaslyn FB
For those not on FB I copy and paste, below:
ARAN, is that really you!
But that female is NOT Mrs G.
Head pattern looks good!

Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife - Glaslyn Ospreys.Another quick screengrab before we lost internet.
Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife - Glaslyn Ospreys.Yes she is, looks like Aran at the back though
Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife - Glaslyn Ospreys. At this point in time we can only say that the male osprey certainly looks like Aran. What matters now is that we look at the interaction between Mrs G and this handsome male. Time will tell but we are very hopeful.
Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife - Glaslyn Ospreys. Mrs G is on the camera pole at the moment, no other ospreys visible.

Despite the above, there still seems to be a bit of doubt as to whether it is Aran! Glaslyn have not confirmed
