On 22 March, we were all thrilled to see the safe return of Blue 33 and Maya within hours of each other. Since arriving back, 33 and Maya have been busy re-establishing their partnership and building their nest.

The time has now come for Maya to lay her eggs, the first of which we should expect to see very soon.
I checked in to a see Maya alone on the nest. Blue 33 arrived with a long twiggy stick
Maya tried to ignore him
Then she flew off, leaving 33 to sort out the stick
and then a spot of nestcupping

And still we wait!
Maya has only taken a quick comfort break and not moved foo far from the cup in the last half hour. I have seen her at times gently chirping.
I don't think it will be too long before we see her first egg :-)
33 arrived and Maya has flown off. 33 remains on the nest looking around and now nibbling at some sticks.
Edit: After a bit, 33 flew off and now ENS
Maya has returned to the nest. 33 follows, mates and flies off but quickly returns.
Another bird is flying about and 33 is alert but not too concerned. Maya nibbles at some sticks
Now 33 has flown
33 has just delivered a large fish and Maya flies off with
Maya arrived and later followed by 33 with a fish (or could have been remains from earlier?). Maya moved towards him taking it from his talons.
Maya the flew off with it leaving 33 on the nest. 33 rests in the nestcup for a bit then flies off
