Annette, you will now see I have deleted my comments as I have learned from one of my friends at church that it could lead to cybertracing and don't want to get anyone into trouble.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Good afternoon everyone I have been keeping up to date and enjoying everything that has been going on. Not a lot has been happening here and the weather has been very mixed and very windy when putting washing out you have to watch it as it keeps getting blown off the line.
I wonder when OG will be able to get home as she is bound to be having withdrawal symptoms pretty badly with there being no WIFI at the hospital.
Clare do you change lenses to get the focus and clarity with your pictures?. I hope Limpy is feeling a bit better but he does seem to be getting out and about again.
I have bought myself a new bed as they say you should change them every eight years and it is somewhat longer since I changed mine. The company arranged to take the old one away when they delivered the new one which saved a lot of trouble.
It will only be a few more days till we get our ospreys back again and the rollercoaster starts again.
Hope everyone keeps well and my prayers go with you.

Great to catch up with you, GEORGE!
I have news of OG. She had her follow up check this morning. All is progressing well but it seems that it will be at least another four or five weeks before a discharge from hospital can be considered. She still has to have the leg splinted before she is moved from bed to chair via hoist. No real weight bearing as yet. Physios are in charge, they will make the call regarding eventual discharge home. Still no WiFi available to patients, unfortunately.
Good to get a post from you, George. We change our mattress every few years, but keep the bed. Nice that they would dispose of the old one for you. Sleep well!!
Thanks for the news of OG, Heather. She must be very annoyed that it's all going to take so long. I hope she's a lot more comfortable in the local hospital.
It was so nice to hear lots of tributes to Dame Vera Lynn today, on her 100th birthday.
Lynette -- I'm having my doubts about that BBC survey! If you look back, I'm in Yorkshire, too, and lots of the others are similar. Makes you wonder how many places are being recommended!
Lindybird: Lets ask EJ to move as well then we are sorted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hallo all: 30 whales this morning - about 15 during my shift; we couldn't keep up with them. One group of four stuck around for almost an hour, cavorting in the water and being a great distraction from the others who were intent on their migration.
Lynette: Saw the original post before you deleted it. Suspect the relevant parties are too busy hacking into our Administration given recent comments by our so-called Secretary of State.
Heather: Eeegads. Several more weeks in hospital for OG? That's ghastly. And with no wifi? Even more so. How on earth is she passing the time? You could study for a degree stuck in bed like that. How many weeks has it been now?
Lindybird: That white cat looks like our Lightning in her younger days. I'd heard that white cats are susceptible to skin cancers, but she is - what? - 19 and hasn't had an issue so far.
Thanks all for pix, posts and laughs.
Lindy - I did another one with slightly changed personality and it placed me elsewhere in the country. I think they put it on for a bit of fun and if not , not to be taken seriously.
Annette - just forget what I said then. I was informed by a friend at church that they can possibly trace the person even without mentioning names but by the name I did mention.
Glad you saw your whales - wow 30 passing through, quite a number. I bet it was quite spectacular watching them playing etc.
What a fiasco it is re these so called hackings.
Lynette: Can't even remember what you said! Something about ospreys...? :-)
