Yes Roberto I would say the fishing attempts were juveniles.
It so lovely to be able to see footage of these attempts and good to know that they have been practising before migration. I think the nests that are on or close to water must be an advantage to the young ospreys.
Craig Ramone another of the Balgavies photographer's has posted some wonderful photographs from the nest.
There may not be a Webcam for this beautiful reserve, but it is made up for that by having a fantastic set of photographers who visit to give us these very close up photos of the Balgavies family :-) for which I for one appreciate very much!

Great photos Mary. Thanks Craig.
Birdies LG DU update.
Fabulous photos from Craig! Thanks for the link, Mary. Those shots of the juvenile from above, showing the perfect and gorgeous feathers, each tipped with cream, are just beautiful.
Kind regards, Ann
I loved that photo too Ann, the feathers all looked so perfect.
Mike Fenton has posted some great photos of one of the juveniles.

It is always good to hear of Blue YD Sheila, was great to see the photo of him when he was sighted in July too.
I always wonder if he is breeding in the area somewhere.
