He has been sighted back in Scotland in recent years.

Fledges are special events and I will always remember the first one I witnessed in my life for an Osprey, there at Balgavies.

Yes we always remember our first fledge, or first time we seen an osprey catch a fish.
When did you see the fledge at Balgavies, was it last year when the four brood, or the year the single chick?

Hi Mary,
it was in 2014, a brood of two. Below is a picture taken during the first flight of the younger chick, with White UF escorting.
The older one was already doing small practice dives.
Looks like you are learning Italian :-)
