Amazing photos Thanks MARY and DARREN
MaryGK said: Roberto - Thank You for your fabulous photos and information regarding both birds. It will probably be Ian Francis who was the ringer for the Aberdeenshire bird CR6, and I am sure Ian will get back to you soon. I always thought it was Yellow JU :-) that had faded....to look white :-) it will be interesting to see if the ringer gets back to you this time. JU has been sighted over a few years at Kinnordy, so it would seem that he must be breeding somewhere in the Angus area.

The ringer of Blue CR6 was ian Francis, yes.
Roy is better geared than us in telling what the colour of JU's ring is. On reflection, it's interesting to see that the "report a ringed osprey" page doesn't include "white" among possible options for ring colours and I had to pick "other" and detail "white" in notes. Hope we won't end up in knowing that our dear EJ was actually "Yellow EJ" LOL.... - just kidding, of course EJ was under the radar well before her ring could fade.
Roberto - I look forward to finding out the colour of the ring JU.... Hope you hear soon.
Oh well, we all know our EJ is well and truly WHITE EJ LOL...
Hello Everyone
Darren was at Aviemore Lochan yesterday morning, also at LI too, he said there were only 3 dives and all birds were unringed.
He also went to LI and got a stunning photo of the male landing on the nest.
As Odin delivered a fish at 06.38 am yesterday morning, maybe one of these photos are him.
Not this one as this was timed at 06.46 am
These were all earlier
--ooOoo--
@ LI - you can still see the netting on the side of the nest, but it doesn't look as bad as photo from beginning of week, so hopefully it may just drop off eventually.
and at Loch of Kinnordy last night a Glossy Ibis....

Thank you Mary. Those pictures are amazing. If you enlarge that first one you can almost hear the fish!!
Birdies LG DU update.
It is a fab photo Mike, he said that was one of the last ones he took when the light was better, and said it was pretty poor earlier on so had to enhance the photos in his photo programme.
Stunning photos
Very talented.
The ibis at Loch of Kinnordy attracted many people yesterday despite the cloudy day, everybody entering the hide asked whether it was in sight. I've not spotted it, but old dear White/Yellow JU didn't miss to show.
Nothing relevant to be reported at Balgavies Loch while I was there for some three hours. Incubation continues and Green BF brought a big fish - but only after he enjoyed his share perched on a branch emerging from the water, not far from the nest where the female was calling for food. I planned to pay a final visit today, but the drizzly morning discouraged me and drove down to Edinburgh on my way home.
Thanks for your report Roberto. Such a shame you didn't see the Glossy Ibis.
JU must have known you were there and had to show up especially for you LOL....
Green BF is certainly known for catching huge fish :-)
Have a good journey home.
