HAPPY NEW WEEK!Hi, everyone. I chose this photo for the week because the Sandhill Cranes are migrating through my state on their way north to their spring nesting grounds. I like them a lot! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Heather I can understand your concerns about brothers long drive..
In 2 weeks a friend and I are going to Bideford before flying to Lundy.
We will stop on the way down. Worcester would have been our first choice but it's Cheltenham Gomd Cup week so all surrounding areas are full. So we have opted for Stratford upon Avon but will use Worcester on the way home.
A lovely day apart from a quick short shower early pm . Sun out now so OH and Daisy are out for her after tea walk.
Good grief! Must bump this thread up. Busy day; tomorrow puttering with daughter, then to the movies with Ms D (eeek! some animated thing - where are my ear plugs!).
Good morning, all. Sorry I haven't been on here too much this week, we just seem to have had a lot happening! Limpy still isn't quite right but the doctors have tweaked his tablets a bit to help him sleep and that has been effective, thankfully.
It's so good to know we're finally in March and the ospreys will soon be arriving! I'm on duty at Minsmere this afternoon so hopefully I'll get a few photos. I didn't get out with my camera nearly enough last month, something I need put put right in the month coming.
Our thought were with Margo's friends and family on Wednesday. I'm so pleased Lindy's wonderful poem was read - I couldn't think of anything more appropriate for the occasion.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hi Clare, sorry to hear that Limpy is still under the weather. Have a good day at Minsmere.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks, Mike.
It's just started to chuck it down with rain!
Gorgeous sunny frosty day up here so heading towards the Cairngorms..
Maybe an early Osprey :-)))))
Fingers crossed, Wendy! I'm pleased somebody has the weather even if it isn't me.
It isn't me either, Clare - wet, windy and horrible here. The window-cleaner has just been, so I can see the rain even more clearly ...
The day was superb...
Coffee cake a walk around Loch Morlich and then up Cairngorm to be greeted by a flock of Snow Buntings... what a pretty little bird.
PS Pat.... my Windows need cleaning and sadly the sun which is still shining makes them look even worse.
