Thanks Mary, a great idea and I also think there should be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle as many of us will want to follow Clarach's progress.
CLARACH ON THE WEBCAM POST above the nest at Aberfoyle.

For those of you watching the live stream and looking at an empty nest - Clarach is around - she's just spent all her day so far sitting on the perch above the camera!

Could it be that Clarach's appearance in Aberfoyle be related to the fact that she's descended from translocated stock from Scotland (to Rutland, where her mother Glesni was born)? Sorry, I am a new blogger and not sure how to start off a dedicated thread which I agree would be useful!
A good question korky and we do not know where Monty is from and thought by some to be the Welshpool nest. Strange he hung about the Dyfi if from Scotland before a mate. I hope you get a reply as interesting
Yes an interesting question Korky..... There is a Osprey Chat Thread that is used for this type of discussion, so I have transferred your post over there.
Was looking to see if there was a thread for the Aberfoyle nest now they have a live stream from 9am to 5.30pm AND Clarach (Blue 2R from Dyfi) is there.
As the unringed male is not being very forthcoming, perhaps this is still the best place for news.
Clarach was on the nest from around 5.15pm - looking up so I was hopeful but then 5.30pm came and the stream stopped...

Birdsong, Lovely captures of the beautiful Clarach--thanks! I think Mary was planning to start a thread for Aberfoyle and may have already--I haven't checked yet!
Kind regards, Ann
