Osprey at Hilton Head right now
Thank you for the news on Red8T - I missed it somehow. Glad he is back. Hope Green J is ok and will be seen.
I noticed a post on Facebook this morning 're Loch Insh. They have a mass of netting fankled into the top of the nest. Photographer has advised relevant authorities so hopefully the situation will be monitored
Thanks for the LI news Lmac. I wouldn't think anyone could approach the nest now so hopefully it somehow manages to dislodge itself. How awful.
That sounds dreadful and worrying
Wonderful news from Operation Jimmy www.facebook.com/.../443339266013689 this is also indeed welcome news for Friends of the Osprey who played their part in putting up the nest , let us hope all turns out well , if no eggs this year bodes well for next with maybe pair bonding .
Valerie
Great news Valerie especially if the female is 3J who I watched many times when she was a juvenile in Manton Bay
Indeed Alan great news for Loch Doon and Rutland hopefully :) fingers crossed we get ID soon , best news for a long time so pleased for everyone concerned , hard work rewarded
Thank you VALERIE That is fantastic news So happy for everyone involved and a lovely tribute to Jimmy
I remembered Jimmy was an osprey that had sadly been electrocuted on a power line. I had a noodle around trying to find out more about Operation Jimmy and found this website. Great story and wonderful personal contribution to the future of ospreys by Gail Edgley.

This is a nest Lowry and I have watched off and on since 2014, it is in Orange Beach, Alabama.
It is in a very scenic area, it is so lovely to see a feed happening. It won't be long until we see this on all of the webcams in the UK....
