Margo has been told that it's not possible for her to have any more transfusions, so her OH is of course spending a lot of time at her side.

Thanks again, LINDY. Thinking about them both.

OG has had an up and down day but is glad that she doesn't have to wait much longer for her surgery. She is going to opt for a spinal anaesthetic. Our conversation was cut short, I think her mobile might have run out of charge.

On a lighter note, I just got a text message from my youngest son in law. 'In case you were thinking about texting Fiona, she has just discovered that her mobile phone is not waterproof'. Yes, phone in back pocket of her jeans when she went to the loo.... Oh, the perils of modern life.

dibnlib:  I was going to reply to your post about your visit:  I'm glad your mother was looking better, and able to join in the conversation a little. It sounds as if your brother has got some help with deciding what should be done. You will be able to relax knowing that she is cared for and that your brother will not have to be trying to be in two places at once, as often happens.

Sorry you didn't enjoy the show - sometimes it can be disappointing when you've had high hopes!

Heather:  Had to laugh at your post about the phone.  It happens quite often, I think!   (Not to me, my mobile is usually at the bottom of my bag and I have to find it to answer it.)
