Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

strange sounds coming from the mike, either somethings dislodged and its catching on something or.........what?
Think I've sussed it, the wind has got up so it sounds as though something is blowing in the wind so to speak. I wonder whether the eldest has knocked something loose with keep perching on the post??
Think I can hear the squeaking close to the mike you are meaning Lynette. Its breezy up there but dry and all three GEMS are keeping each other company on the nest. Rain is on its way tomorrow according to forecasters so maybe not a day for fledging. Goodnight all. Catch you tomorrow evening. Emma.
Night Emma, OH said he had an email from a friend who is up at St Andrew's at the moment and it has been a sunny day there.
