Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Heard a commotion and came through to see EJ with a fish ... judging by the size its one of hers! Amazingly all three are on the nest looking to be fed :-)

EJ arrives with a fish and is feeding the chicks.
Heard a lot of shouting & cam e back to find Odin on the nest with the 3 GEM's- they are arguing as usual, over a fish which he must have brought.
Thanks Brenda - I didn't see her arrive .... but guessed it was her by the size of the fish!
What a great bird EJ is. She has just arrived with an ENORMOUS fish. I dont think the chicks are hungry so this should also do for breakfast.
CORRECTION: Not surprisingly, I stared at the picture and thought it was Odin on the left, but its probably #1, who is already full of fish - can now see that its EJ on the right who is feeding the other two with the fish.
Don't know how often lately I have thought Odin was on the nest when it has been one of the chicks.
Intruder ... must be after the fish! All three GEMs went flat and let EJ deal with it :-)
Which chick is always the last to eat? #2?
Seems to always be # 2, Annette. That makes five fish today, so far, so at least they are not as hungry as before.
#2? ... testing its wings .... looks ready to go at any minute!
