Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Chick without wandered over and took remainder of fish from chick on distant edge of nest. No fuss. Phew. EDIT. Two decent sized fish on the nest and the chicks are not starving. There should be enough to go round.
I have just logged on, there are three fish being demolished now. Never seen that before.

only saw 2 being delivered jsb - i have not seen them splitting one in half, but they may have done it while i was not looking!! xx
I think ghengis is right, jsb - the fish has been split up now between them.
Was it a 'tug of fish' competition?
lol jsb it was earlier when EJ bought the first fish . #1 had it off her almost before she landed - then #2 tried to grab it off #1 and there was a bit of a scuffle! #1 came out on top till the 2nd fish was delivered and it all got a bit more civilised then! anyway ....... i have got to be up at silly o'clock in the morning to start work at 0630 (yuk) so goodnight and will catch up tomorrow xxxx
have been away from the computer for a while ... I see somebody is still eating! Has #1 gone flyabout, or is he hiding somewhere I can't see?

My question is answered ... I just saw a foot scratching off to the left :-)
Lovely close-ups just now of the one nearest the camera.
#1 jst went flyabout ... and the other two went flat to the nest!
#1 came back and landed on the post with a clunk.
Nobody can be hungry now ... there's some fish left lying on the nest!!
