Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Well I'm still here for the moment, but apparently it's going to rain from tomorrow (aaagh, on my week off) so must mow grass for a couple of hours soon.
Terry in Cumbria
EJ just flew in, alarm calling. Chick on cam is calling too, because it's so loud, right up against the microphone LOL. A shadow just flew over nest, other two are down.
She's gone after it now to see it off.
Good morning TerryM EJ is not happy at all. What a racket she is looking very fierce. EJ has just flown off leaving one of the youngsters - has come back immediately still shrieking.
Margobird
She came back fairly quickly, still calling, but now calming down.
Just logged on to hear EJ and was it the eldest shouting, EJ mantling over the other two on nest. Quite something, The danger seems to be over for the time being. Will play catchup later.
All quiet at present, two on nest and presumably the eldest is on the cam post.
Heard all that noise! - they are very piercing, these youngsters this year.
11.46 Good size fish delivered by Odin. Two young on the nest and EJ ready to dole out.
NO #1 kicking up a fuss on camera post and has now come down for his/her share.
