Don't think my last post posted, so here it is again.
OK, well, Christmas dinner eaten and gifts given and received, so tomorrow we're going to relax and do Nothing!
Meanwhile, the very best wishes of the season to all the dear people on this thread, lurkers included.
EDIT; But now I see it did. Not sure it's me or the site that's not with it!
Morning all: No idea what day of the week it is, but it's the first day in weeks when there hasn't been something that needed doing. OH and I went out for dinner last night to lovely little Italian restaurant and it's back to normal food from now on. Hope I can remember the way to the gym...
Clare: Lovely photos - do like the foggy trio.
dibnlib: Good you saw your Mom on your trip south, even if she didn't "see" you.
AQ: Hope the cooling trend stays around.
Lindybird: Good you're feeling better; stay well.
Have been thinking of Margo, Diane, and Heather these last few days and wondering how they're doing.
Thanks all for posts and news and Hi to lurkers and others like me who are recovering from Christmas and/or various ailments.
Good afternoon to all it is a bit of a non day here as it has been for the last few days. We have been lucky to miss the fog they are having south of the border with quite a few accidents being caused.
We had a lovely Christmas day lunch which lasted approx.four hours as the chef only does one sitting and allows time between courses to allow the food time to get digested although it also allows time to drink a little more wine.
I hope that Margo Diane and Heather have managed to get over the festive period OK and can look forward to a better 2017 as this year has been horrendous for quite a few of our posters and lurkers.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.

GEORGE That sounds like a great way to have your Christmas lunch. I am sure you enjoyed every mouthful.
Hello all
Thank you for all pics and posts. Will try and make replies at some point. Have been very busy as you will appreciate, lots of bank visits etc and sorting out of 'stuff'.
I'm obviously not in a good place, lots of teary moments and so, so missing my OH. However, looking on here and reading your posts provides a very welcome distraction.
Good evening, all. Another lovely day was had at Minsmere - click on this gorgeous shoveler to see more:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
CLARE- what lovely pics! Especially love the robin and the egret.
Clare - that really is gorgeous! I love the markings. I've not had time to look at your other pics, yet. We just had more visitors. (Bonnie was much admired).
Looking forward to eating our bacon chops this evening and then putting our feet up - it seems to have been "all go" as my mother used to say!
Glad you enjoyed your nice Italian meal, Annette - it's good to get away to a quiet treat, when you've had a busy time.
George, lovely to hear from you. Your Christmas meal sounds very civilised, time to digest, as you say. I hope you have a healthy and peaceful New Year, too.
Heather - Please don't think you have to work backwards on here, and make replies. I'm so glad that you've had your family around you during the holidays, it must have been helpful and comforting. You will have a lot of "stuff" to do, I know. It's surprising how many things needs sorting out. Take care of your health {{HUGS}}
Clare - Just peeked at your latest pics - I'm impressed by how many different birds you could find on a misty day. And I loved the rabbit, too! :-)
George: I'm going to Christmas dinner at that place you went to - sounds very civilized!
Heather: Is your family still with you? I don't like to think of you alone in the house.... Sending hugs!
No, ANNETTE I'm home alone but by my own choice - will see how it goes...
