HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY FULL MOON!
Hi, All. It's been a long time since I've been able to start a new thread. I'm back at my home now. It should have been about a 45-mile trip home, but I got wildly lost on the prairie country roads near Lafayette. I thought I'd never make it home!!! I had to find my way back to the city and navigate the big interstate highways to finally get myself turned in the right direction. LOL
So far I haven't seen any squirrels, frogs, mice, or other critters in my house.I will catch up with you all in the next couple of days. I know I owe folks emails, too.
Everyone have a great week!Buck Deer in the Light of the Full MoonPhoto labeled Public Domain (Copyright Free)
Brenda, That is wonderful news. Very happy for all concerned.
Hopefully, she will recover quickly from her surgery. Age is on her side.
YAAAY!! Such great news Brenda. Phew!!!
Heather, so sorry to read about your OH. Upsetting for both of you. I am glad your friends were there to help you.
Fantastic news Brenda. You and all your family must be so relieved.
Kind regards
Jenny
I have been up to my ears in books this afternoon in my Charity shop. We have a new manager who hasn't really got into the job yet, and the place is chaotic.
Seven large boxes went out as unsalable. To be converted into industrial packaging at least.
There were a lot of good ones, as well. I resisted buying any today!
What wonderful news, Brenda. So very glad for you all, what a relief it must be.
Rosy - that must be such a temptation. I'd take some home every time there was a delivery!
So tired now -- off to bed. Goodnight, All. I hope AQ has had a good day out, down under!
BRENDA- just such wonderful news. So very happy for you all xxx
Thanks all, for kind remarks re OH. Especially good to hear from DIANE and hoping that she is beginning to feel more rested.
Thank you so much, Friends. I am surprised at how relaxed I do feel now.
Hello all, not been on for some time but trying to have a catch up now and see that there are one or two of you who are suffering a bit either from bugs or have relatives who are suffering. May you find healing and peace to pass on to them.
See that Margo's sister is not well at all and that Margo is managing to visit. Will remember her. Also Brenda's D-I-L who thankfully has been given the all clear.
Heather , do hope your OH makes a good recovery.
Diane - nice to see you back in the fold, hope all is OK with you.
OG - saw that you had contracted a bug but now seem to be on the mend but that J has now caught it too. Will be thinking of you and indeed all those who are unwell.
Not a lot has been happening here. Just went to the doc's yesterday for an injection into my thumb - trigger finger syndrome plus it has been very painful, arthritis setting in. Seems to be a whole lot better since jab so hopefully will stay pain free for another year. Managed to get to the gym twice this week but not doing as many lengths, just taking it steady.
Our dau is 40 next month so have been trying to put together a list for food etc - managed it between M&S and Iceland as we are having a family drop in on the Sat aft and a friends one in the evening but of course they may very well overlap.
Lindybird - saw your pics from your cruise, really are very nice.
