Good Morning Everyone.
I still need to look at Diane's Link.
So sorry to see the flooding as hurricane Hermine, hits the Florida coast.
I need to do a large shop this morning.
LINDY love the pics of Bonnie. I am so glad she has settled down. Have a good weekend and enjoy your cruise.
Hello everyone -
Thanks for all your news. I was reading it in the middle of the night! I love it when there is chat going on in 'our' night time. I should join in!
The family in New Zealand were woken up by the tremors, beds shaking etc. Their Civil Defence put out a local warning but it has been cancelled now. As ANNETTE said, lots of aftershocks.
LINDY - So pleased to read that Bonnie is settling down. I noticed that you weren't posting much about her and hoped that it was because she had been behaving herself. Enjoy your family weekend.
DIANE - I had my PC on, tuned in to the Slooh programme. Then the electrician arrived and by the time I got back upstairs, it was all over :-( But thank you for thinking about us.
OH is outside painting a fence. His balance isn't too bad when standing fairly still. Sensibly, he has started using a walking stick when going anywhere outside the house and garden. I have been doing more in the garden, as obviously, bending up and down, looking from side to side and upwards makes his problem worse. Anyway, as I said before, we have decided to cut back on standard fuchsias, tubs etc and his tiered stand full of geraniums. All require a lot of maintenance, sweeping up and dead heading etc. There is only so much that I can do outside, with all the household chores, laundry, shopping etc. We have been getting a chap in to trim trees and hedges etc. He is doing more for us as each year passes - thank goodness!
Regards to all and sorry, not more replies
All: I'm on my way to Indianapolis. My brother has cancer, and it's bad. I won't have much access to the Internet, so I don't know when I'll be on this site again. I have my phone, but it's not great for accessing the Internet. We just found out about my brother's cancer this morning.
Everyone take care of yourselves.
Diane so sorry to read your sad news. My thoughts are with you and all the family.
DIANE - No words can say how sad I feel for you and your family.
I am so sorry to read the sad news about your brother, Diane. Thinking of you.
