Bassenthwaite Osps both balanced on the edge of the nest, and it's p**ing down here today with strong wind. Not many landing places on these pointy trees.

Hi TerryM I reported this person to the Moderator as soon as I came on this morning, & see that at least one other person has, on the Main Blog as well.
That sounds a good idea Lindybird, didn't know we could do that (if we're all allowed our opinions) well done.
Terry M, The "report abuse" button can be used if a post breaches the Terms & Conditions for use of the Forum - see under Help at the top of the page. The post on the blog most definitely did, as it included an obscene word. It was me that reported that, though it has now gone - I suspect the LG team noticed it and removed it. I have a copy of it though - and so do the mods.
Morning all: Just stopping in again right now. Grandson is coming by to "talk to" OH and me, which means he wants to borrow money - oh dear - later this morning. Of course it grows on trees, so no problem. :-))
TerryM/Short Stuff: I was taken aback at first, then shocked, then amused by all "that" chat. Was bursting wanting to respond! I hit the Report Abuse button on Daily Update and also saw Main Blog post, which had already been reported. SueC: The blogger hasn't posted on Daily Update for a bit (at last read anywhay), but previous posts are still there....not quite as egregious as the Main Blog one! Sort of sad really.

BrendaH: Oh my - I'd faint if that were the case re grandson! Watch this space. :-) Carpet cleaning has turned out well, although it's oldish carpeting, so didn't expect wonders - but it's clean!!
ANNETTE i have a niece who only ever sees my Mum If she wants money (and we are not talking just a few pounds ) from what you have said I think you have a good relationship with Grandson anyway. The fact that my niece lives only 4 miles from her Grandma and never visits otherwise does make me cross esp as I have mentioned before Mum has pre Alzheimers and could do with a little help or even her Grand-daughters company now and then!!!! Sorry for the rant and hope I haven't put my foot in it with anyone.
Like the others ahead I have been amazed at the political nonsense on the Daily Update. Worse still I am assuming the offender is a fellow Scot, so they are really letting the side down.
Oh dear off to make dinner and I promise to be in a better frame of mind when I come back on.
