Yesterday brought 4 large fish, 2 from each parent, so lots of nest activity. Both EJ and Odin are seen tidying up the nest now, rather like starting to close up the summer cottage for the season (or should I say Love Shack hehe). All of us are especially enjoying this perfect Loch Garten nest this year, as we well know how things can and have gone sour so easily. Here is the obligatory nest shot for this morning for later comparisons.
Forgot to add that after returning from days away, it is harder for me to tell the difference between R & W now.

A rare moment of uncharacteristic silence. ;-)

No-one seen on the nest until Odin with stick after 0600hr. And from then on there were several of us watching.

LOL CC, and hello to you too.
Edit: My comment above took me soooo long to post, that a lot has been posted in between. It referred to CC's comment: I bet Rowan dropped that big fish piece he had yesterday and is still hungry. Or angry.
The cam keeps stalling, and yet I can hear calling. Then the sound literally clicks in and out. It is all most discombobulating! (I don't think I have ever used that word before, but it seems right under the circumstances!)
I love the way they are still happy to snuggle together
Can it really be that there has been no fish delivery so far today?

I must attend to some chores before leaving again today, so I may miss the fish. :( But I hope one is coming, especially for Rowan.
Thank you for checking Scylla.
Rowan has had a strop and flown off, calling in the distance! Willow continues to call as he watches his big brother. Both are calling!
Willow has follow suit! ENS and silence!
Edit: well not quite, there is some calling in the distance.
Willow has returned, and is calling
I demand fish
15.33 Oh well....
With reference to the Aviemore Osprey's post this morning suggesting that EJ had been seen fishing today.. it has now been clarified:
Aviemore Ospreys While i am spotting i rely on the photographers to give me ring numbers, Eileen has a few images of EJ fishing yesterday looking on the back of her camera and will have the exact time from yesterday, not sure if she fished today with all the birds around.
Willow is scrutinising the lichen, and then starts to call again.
What's up there?
Willow stood up and got into pathetic mode again (or did the cam stall and the sound go funny?!), and umphed back down again, with more calling, before going silent.
