Yesterday brought 4 large fish, 2 from each parent, so lots of nest activity. Both EJ and Odin are seen tidying up the nest now, rather like starting to close up the summer cottage for the season (or should I say Love Shack hehe). All of us are especially enjoying this perfect Loch Garten nest this year, as we well know how things can and have gone sour so easily. Here is the obligatory nest shot for this morning for later comparisons.
Forgot to add that after returning from days away, it is harder for me to tell the difference between R & W now.

Rowan is stamping around displacing.
I bet Rowan dropped that big fish piece he had yesterday and is still hungry. Or angry.
Are you sure this clump is not edible?

I wonder if this is the day that every LG juvenile experiences No fish. EJ and Odin obviously had the chat and decided today was the day for tough love.

On seeing your post I went back to do a vid, but this is what morphed onto my screen with no fly-in - worth a frame, this one ;-)

LOL Lmac. The day was bound to come. This morning when I checked in, no one was around the nest or sounding. I thought maybe they took the kids fishing. :)

Love your captions, NOC! :-)
LMAC et al... I intend to go thru the morning and make sure "we" didn't miss a fish - but I saw no-one on the nest for hours :o
They're up!
I forget how loud they are at this age and stage. Remember how big their heads were in relationship to their bodies? Now the bods have caught up!
Boys are up and shouting. A parent must be around...

By the way they shout, I would say they haven't had a fish this morning!
