How different yesterday has ended than the day before when the boys nestled together on the nest! One reason being that the cam inexplicably zoomed in around Night Cam time and never returned to normal. So we are not exactly sure who is on the nest tonight, though we can guess it is Willow. And we assume no one else is standing on the other side! Yesterday brought many flights on and off the nest for both siblings. Willow managed to fly off the nest with his fish, another milestone in a young osprey's development. Some speculated again about when EJ would venture fishing to support the increased volume needed of fish, now that both youngsters are airborne. And yet again Granny Smith supplied superb photos and a report of her visit to the VC.
One thing is certain, though the nest was empty a few times today, true ENS has not yet set in for us. Hopefully the cam pic will be normalized, and with good focus. :-?

Rowan shouting his head off from a tree somewhere, Willow muttering in reply.
IMAGICAT
(Am just showing willing ;-) )
Willow has flown from VLC - it'll be a little while yet for the screen version.
Wow! I don't believe it! The shouting has stopped :o
Food time here.
ENS.
After lots of calling from off-nest, EJ is here - probably fish-calling.
It's the most beautiful osprey in Scotland - and she's hungry:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Goodness me, very loud, EJ :o Followed by pathetic little chirps ;-D
Good morning, CLARE! Great to see you. I'm doing a job for someone non-LG, so if you are holding the fort, terrific - but maybe you're off to work?
I'm not off to work today but I'm not going to be about for too much longer.
