Fledging Day for EJ's 25th chick, Willow, was yesterday, at age 54 days old, all captured by our online team! In addition, we have reports and pics from MaryGK and Granny Smith direct from the VC. Exciting times, with photos of the whole family in one tree. All to get us prepared for the looming prospect of ENS. VC is now switching cam views from the nest to the tree for our viewing pleasure (blog from Chris). Also a blog from Sarah anticipating ENS.
However tonight, for now we can feast our eyes on the two brothers sharing a nest together in true fraternity.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I keep finding myself wondering why she hasn't been fishing yet. Has this season taken it out of her more than usual?
Good Morning Everyone
It has taken me ages to catch up this morning, I kept checking the time to make sure I wasn't an hour out LOL.
Thanks to CC for starting us off and for the recap of yesterday and for your overnight posts and captures
Thanks to Scylla and Moffer for your reporting too. Scylla the fish delivery video was brilliant, another whopper of a fish from Odin, thanks for your painstaking work of mixing the two mediums together to let's us latecomers see the delivery. When I think back to this time last year and watching EJ screeching her head off at Odin, I agree with you that she doesn't seem to be nagging quite so much this year. Maybe she is mellowing in her old age.
I have just gone back to look at webcam and now see it is an empty nest, oh dear!
Happy webcam watching everyone. It has started to rain here, worst weather we have ever had at this time of year here.
