Fledging Day for EJ's 25th chick, Willow, was yesterday, at age 54 days old, all captured by our online team! In addition, we have reports and pics from MaryGK and Granny Smith direct from the VC. Exciting times, with photos of the whole family in one tree. All to get us prepared for the looming prospect of ENS. VC is now switching cam views from the nest to the tree for our viewing pleasure (blog from Chris). Also a blog from Sarah anticipating ENS.
However tonight, for now we can feast our eyes on the two brothers sharing a nest together in true fraternity.

Odin has flown taking his fish.
EJ continues to eat her fish tail
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
EJ has finished her fish (fish 1)
EJ has flown. ENS
The fish delivery and a clip of the distraction:
Odin brings his fish to the nest and defends, with EJ mantling and joining in:
Both those videos remind me that EJ doesn't seem to be as full of life as she was last season.
Now she's back on the nest calling again, but with no verve. And of course, she hasn't been fishing for the younguns yet.
EJ's back calling
Aww, Odin's brought his fish leftover - did she want it for herself or for the kids? There's one come to the nest for it.
Odin returns fish 2
Rowan joins them for another feed
Good morning, all. Lovely to come on and see a feed in progress, and even nicer to see both EJ and Odin:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Odin has flown.
