A new week - no posh link to last week's thread I'm afraid, but then again, it may not be worth the aggravation! :-)
Diane – What a dear little chapel. I saw an Italian chapel built by POWs in the Orkneys. See my 3 pics here and here and here.
.
Annette – Our phone is on the Do Not Call Register, but charities, surveys, politicians are exempt! Also scammers seem to get through. Some scammers want to “repair” my Windows ie computer, others claim to be Tax Office and threatening gaol if money not paid. I hang up on all of them. Many elderlies are stung.
Woo hoo I can do posh links again, at last. Something positive to say about Windows10?
AQ: I love your photos!
Annette: The Prisoner of War camp and the chapel were located at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana. It was a huge military base during WWll and housed the largest general and convalescent hospital in the U.S. The POW camp housed both German and Italian soldiers. The base was closed in 2013 due to the sequestration (government shutdown) budget cuts. Now it's a training base for the Indiana National Guard. And NASA has been granted part of it for technology research.Everyone have a good day.
Good Morning. Good to see everything is back to normal. Linda will be back next week after her stay in Wales and hopefully, Heather will have had a rethink and will be back with us, shortly.
We will be leaving for East Grinstead hospital in fifteen minutes. OH has an appointment with his Consultant.
Hope to 'see' you all, later today. Enjoy today.
Welcome to a rainy East Grinstead, Brenda! Very glad I decided not to play golf this morning - I didn't fancy getting wet yet again. Hope the hospital appointment goes well.
Love it Diane

AQ - well done you and do hope it doesn't give you too much gip.
Hugs to Margo if she's around and hope you are feeling just a little better.
Weather miserable here, wet and windy, what's new these days. Summer is somewhere around but not showing us much yet!!!
Good Evening all. I have added a few photos of our trip to Bempton to Clare's thread - click on the gannets if you would like to see them.
