HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
On Monday: HAPPY SOLSTICE and HAPPY FULL MOON!
This will be the first Full Moon to fall on the June Solstice since 1967 -- the Summer of Love! -- according to EarthSky. Other sources say it hasn't happened since 1948.The Slooh Observatory will host an online live streaming special dedicated to the Solstice and Full Moon combination event.Everyone have a wonderful week!
Lindy hope you are feeling better when you arrive on here today. Take care x
Good Morning Everyone. The sun is shining, bur more thunderstorms forecast for many of us today.
AQ, Great to hear from you. I hope everything continues to go well, with an end to the 'down moments'. X
Linda, Hope things have calmed down now. Such a pity that you will be unable to visit your son.
Off to the garden centre this morning.
Thanks Lmac. And others expressing concern. Had a good night with a lot of sleep, but shocked this morning at just how wobbly I am. Still not well. My OH has been shopping for us and come back with most of the things on the list, LOL!
Very disappointed at not being able to go and visit my grandsons today: the weeks often turn into months when we don't see them, due to the distance.
AQ - Great to hear from you and hope The Worst Bit is over now. {HUGS}
Margo - Good that you're feeling the benefit of your latest transfusion. Enjoy going out and about over the next days!
Finally getting dog out for walk as been dismantling Wood burner to rescue young blackbird stuck in the flu.
Well done, rescuing the young blackbird, Lmac Enjoy your walk.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I have always said that politics and religion should never be discussed on Forums.
What has happened in the last two days has made me realise even more that this should be so. On Facebook, people who voted Leave have been hysterically called "Racist!" and worse. I naively thought that whatever the outcome of the recent Vote, some civility would prevail. I went out for lunch with my Friend on Friday - she knew that my OH and I had voted Leave, and she told me that because she was anxious about her daughters job, she had voted Remain. (Neither of us know how her husband voted as he would not reveal it). We had a completely amicable lunch and discussed the TV coverage of the event, plus the future ramifications. No one lost their temper or even raised their voice: we respect one another's views.
