I stayed up until 2.30 this am. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Had to go to bed then, as OH had an early hospital appt.  Tired now.

An unhappy disgruntled population who want to believe everything that they are told. Perhaps that their country can be wealthy again and take it's proper place on the world stage if only they get rid of (space to insert whatever politicians or ethnic group you choose). Where and when have we heard that before and what happened?

Lindybird: "that woman's gigantic ambitions"? I'm voting for Hillary Clinton this November (another woman with "gigantic ambitions"). I guess some women just don't know their place....

Heather: Hitler? Mussolini? Trump?

And isn't this 2016? Oh sorry, the clock just got put back to 1916...or was it 1816?

Beautiful day here. We have planted up seven very large pots. Three extra large ones to do tomorrow, before the rain returns. Spoke to Margo and my sister this afternoon.

The decision has been taken and I have no intention of discussing the referendum result on here. We have to move on now, whichever way we voted. Emotions are running too high on both sides right now.

BRENDA - Respect your viewpoint. People in England are now experiencing what we in Scotland have been living with since the Independence referendum. Feelings are still running high here about that one. You might find that moving on will not happen very quickly.

Thanks, Brenda - I've had a lousy day and got to know our plumbing system better than I ever did before.  Feel really headachy and wobbly now.

Tried to sleep this morning to make up for a bad night, and got TWO of those recorded phone calls - felt like throwing the phone out of the window. Will have to go to bed soon, I'm fit for nothing.
