More American ospreys.  Haven't looked in for a while here at the Hellgate, Montana nest.  This is one of our more colorful place names and we have quite a few of them.

Hi June, It is a beautiful evening here in west Surrey--blue sky with fluffy white clouds and almost chilly for June, but then weather here is often uncharacteristic.  Regarding the LG webcam--it turns out that it is not my computer but the carnyx webcam site which is the problem.  Our computer security firm have blocked our computer from connecting to the carnyx LG webcam claiming that network traffic from carnyx.tv matches the signature of a 'malicious script redirection' attack!  Wierdly, I can still see the live streaming from LG by clicking on the live webcam link on the RSPB website rather than using the direct carnyx.tv live streaming page which I have used for ages, despite the fact that the RSPB site also uses the carnyx stream.  The whole thing is a mystery to me!

But it sounds like you have explained the mystery very well.  For me "I will NEVER understand computers!!"  It is so frustrating to have cams set up, enjoying the nest then for mysterious reasons, the cam is no longer watchable.  Or I pay good money, not once, but periodically, for virus protection only to have a computer wiped out by a virus :(.  Or I just figure out a new window system with no instructions, only to have it replaced by another - no better, just changed around so everything has to be figured out again.  THERE OUGHT TO BE A LAW AGAINST THIS, but there isn't.  ARAUGH!!!

Looking forward to travelling home tomorrow and a trip to see the new rings at LOTL.

LOTL ringed the birds this evening Blue KP0 - KP1 and KP2.

These are younger than LG so I imagine ringing at LG will be soon.

LG are ringing in the morning.
