HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
I left a long reply on the end of last week's thread. I've got a nasty deadline this week for my project, so you all won't hear from me for a few days. I hope everyone has a great week! Eastern BluebirdLabelled Public Domain (Copyright Free)
Keith - What dreadful news for you both. You must be in shock, as it's been so sudden. I am so very sorry, and my thoughts go out to all of you, both you and your family. Thank you for coming on here and explaining when I'm sure there is much to be done.
KEITH very sorry to hear your sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Keith: Oh that's just awful - a late night phone call with the worst news. As others have said, such a shock. So, so sorry. Do take care of yourself while organizing all the logistics on top of everything else. You're in the thoughts of everyone on this thread. Hugs to you.
AQ: As long as you're laid up; maybe you can do some veggie prep for me?
Yas: Suspect Old Hubby would work in most cases on here. :-)
Well it rained overnight - amazing and unusual. Nice and cool so far this year and everyone (well me and at least one other person) is hoping we don't get a repeat of last summer.
Glad you said it Annette, l had a look back on some of the photo's of passed members was really interesting and some amazing photo's and stories, good to see not being around then, l wonder if some are still on the site, thought there were some names l'd seen before. Thought other new members might find them interesting has l did. yas
Just a quickie, everyone -
So sorry, KEITH G, to read of the loss of your brother. Such a shock and such awful circumstances.
Thank you, DIANE for starting us off. Sending energising thoughts to you, for your project.
We started off the day with gardening but got rained off after lunch. OH spent the rainy time doing his tax return, online. Another chore now crossed off the list.
A good use of time, Heather! Sorry to say, but we've had an amazingly sunny and bright day, here. Much warmer than the forecast and so bright I had to find my old straw sunhat! So we havn't been anywhere at all but enjoyed sitting out and chatting to neighbours.
Sitting outside is a real luxury and one to be enjoyed, LINDY! One of our neighbours a few doors away often makes lots of machinery type noises on a Sunday. We grit our teeth and try to ignore it. He is a joiner and always has some kind of project on the go.
Heather: Your neighbor would get told off here in my area. The local Christian churches, as well as the Amish, don't believe in working on Sunday, including mowing the grass.
Keith G: My sympathies to you on the loss of your brother.
Good Morning, sunshine here again today, so far.
Much warmer than reported on TV - we must be lucky in this area, as no wind :-)
Hope Everyone on here has a good Monday! We may head for home again tomorrow, so will try to enjoy ourselves today.
