Hi, Its been a quiet sort of day if you don't count the wind which has been ferocious sounding at times, its the mike that picks it up.
Only 3 fish delivered all day, this no doubt due to the weather. but having said that the young ospreys have been well provided for over the last few weeks so a day without much probably won't harm them and in fact lett all that fat on them dissipate a bit, hmmmmm.
Seriously though, lets hope the weather is better today so that the ringing and tagging can take place which is scheduled for 8pm tonight.
The bairns are close together, some fidgiting going on and looking around but on the whole they are keeping their heads down with this wind.
Happy viewing everybody, see you in the morning, night, night.

Poor Harry, Joan! Your budgie must think there is danger, hearing that noise. The wind noise drove me nuts yesterday, but it was drowning out the sound of the ospreys calling, so darn't turn it off.
Intruder back for a few seconds EJ mantling and shrieking.
Margobird
EJ mantling and shouting at an intruder again. She's calmed down now but is very watchful.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hi Lindybird - I know what you mean about having to keep the sound on! Poor Harry ducks under the computer shelf when the blackbirds alarm call in the garden too!

Thanks JSB. I notice that the wind is forecast to decrease between 7pm and 10pm this evening from 16mph to 9mph. Perhaps there will be window enough to get the job done.
Thanks jsb not looking hopeful such a shame.
DjoanS I used to have a budgie called Joey who was exactly the opposite to Harry. the more noise the better he just used to join in with everything. Was especially fond of cartoons on the TV. I lost him about 4 years ago now and still miss him, he was such a character.
Morning, everyone and many thanks for overnight and morning contributions. Going by some of the posts I can't be the only one who wakes up in the morning and hopes that there will still be three young ones on the nest when I log on! Wind here is a little less strong but still sounds gusty at times at LG. Fingers and toes crossed.
Thanks for that Met office forecast, jsb. As Alan says, perhaps there will be a window in the weather this evening.
I wish those birds would put their wings away before a gust helps them to lift up and away!
