Hi everyone,
Well its been a day of exercising, fish bringing, and generally ospreys being ospreys. The weather could be a bit better though. Very windy again and it did rain yesterday, more in the evening than daytime.
The young ones keep getting up for a stretch and a mouch, but generally are keeping low because of the wind. EJ is probably in her tree.
Happy viewing and see you in the morning. Night, night.

EJ has returned and is shouting....hard to hear her above this awful wind!
Mum back on the nest, young ones looking around and one chunnering away.
Has anyone found lately that every so often they are asked to sign in again?? It keeps happening to me - just wondered whether I've upset the applecart over a post or you are all experiencing this from time to time.
Hi Lynette - the 'signing-in thing' happened to me last week ... several times on the same day I had to sign in again ... but its been ok since!
I've been out this morning and just been reading what has been happening in my absence .... which is not a lot!!

Not had a problem with the signing in thing.
EJ now doing what can only be described as hanging on grimly, the GEM's are in the bottom of the nest again and they must all be hungry now.
Wiil catch up later, have to go and do things.

Me, too.....
Julie on the Facebook blog has posted that the ringing/tagging has been re scheduled for 8pm on Thursday. Yes 8PM.
Good afternoon all and I cannot believe how windy it is at LG today, the worst yet I think. In a a way I was pleased that i had not missed anything but it must be so frustrating for Richard as he will need to get this done sooner rather than later before one of them succeeds in taking off for a flight.
It is a good job Odin caught breakfast before it got so windy. I should think it is just about impossible now with the strength of the wind.
Thanks to all for the news and pics from yesterday too. Had awful trouble getting on the RSPB site at all this morning but seems OK now.

IF (and its not such a small 'if' the way things are going) IF the eldest does fledge, I wonder if they would tag the next two anyway (ie the middle and youngest)?
