We have had an absolutely fishin crazy day at LG. At least 9 fish were delivered by Odin during the course of the day. Its been a pleasure to watch the antics of the youngsters and alarm alerts as well.
All quiet on the nest at present, just a little fidgiting going on .EJ has her back to us, but turned round just then at the camera.
Sad news at LOTL, Lady is not well at all and we don't know what is going to happen during the night. She is an old lady and this may be her time, only time will tell.
Happy viewing to all our overseas visitors until we sleepheads join in and catch up with whats been happening during the night. Good night all.

I don't care that we are off topic - I've been especially careful about that but just now - well, just now I can't contain my tears and even though it's 27 fruitful years and right up to the end - two beautiful chicks - the best 'end' cos I'm sure Lady knows The Laird is feeding . Just someone give me any sort of link to even find SWT which I can't . Thank you Patriciat
Oh, it's back - I got nothing but a white screen and a strange message but now I've got the web cam if it will only load. Thanks Alicat and everyone

Hi Mr C : well, I'm no expert but always imagined that they do more and more of the wing flapping as they mature, to exercise those muscles which are going to be so vital to them for flight, later when they fledge.
That's one of the interesting things about being able to view these birds 24/7, as you can see how they mature and learn, and also I've realised how many pitfalls they (the adults) have to overcome to raise successful broods each season.
EJ is on the lookout for intruders and/or Odin returning, whilst the chicks sleep off the last meal:
Cirrus lots of tears here too! As I said earlier..............it's an off-topic kind of day *hugs*
Just logged back in to LG a few minutes ago and initially couldn't see where everyone was. EJ had gone out and the chicks camouflage (?spelling) is so brilliant. It always amazes me as much now as the first time I ever saw ospreys on a nest.
EJ has been gone for at least 8 minutes now, Foxtail...
............She was gone for at least 10 mins, then suddenly returned and starting shouting.Odin arrived with a FISH !! - a big one!
The above pic is EJ grabbing it off him, quick, before he changes his mind!
He flies off, but only two of the chicks are really interested in eating just now...
