We have had an absolutely fishin crazy day at LG. At least 9 fish were delivered by Odin during the course of the day. Its been a pleasure to watch the antics of the youngsters and alarm alerts as well.
All quiet on the nest at present, just a little fidgiting going on .EJ has her back to us, but turned round just then at the camera.
Sad news at LOTL, Lady is not well at all and we don't know what is going to happen during the night. She is an old lady and this may be her time, only time will tell.
Happy viewing to all our overseas visitors until we sleepheads join in and catch up with whats been happening during the night. Good night all.

Odin has delivered yet another fish and it is only 11.35. He is doing soooo well.

Don't apologise Margobird, I think we all agree it's an off-topic kind of day and we all need to share our feelings and support each other. I don't go on the Lowes thread as I find it too emotional and I satrt getting tearful again as soon as I start reading but I am watching the cam on and off and have commented on the actual SWT blog. At least here we can make our comment and then distract ourselves with the happy scenes at Loch Garten *Hugs*
Two eldest and EJ are having a good preen. I have been studying the head markings and they are slightly different on each chick. What I think is chick #2 looks very like Odin's markins to me. I have thought this for a few days now. EJ looking around as though she expecting Odin back soon with another fish delivery. Wonder what today's count will be?

EJ woke sleeping chick up, all three stood to attention as Odin brought in fish. One chick is more interested in moving big stick around.
He he...... she obviously was expecting him as he arrived just as I posted!!!!
Oh great ... another fish ... was in the kitchen and heard the noise! Nobody seems terribly interested in food ... except one ... Titch probably :-)

A lot of wing flapping from the chicks. Is this to keep cool or muscle strengthening prior to flight?
Good morning Foxtail and thank you for hugs of yesterday, much appreciated. I am now having difficulty watching LOtL and hoping she will soon pass away peacefully. So sad to see such a magnificant bird going through this.
As you say we LG to give an uplift and Odin has just delivered what I believe to be fish 3.
